Her father was Arthur Sheldon and wife Lottie Osborne. His father was Henry Sheldon and wife Emma. Tracing back Henry Sheldon his father was Platt and his father was Timothy, one of the earliest settlers of Westport, NY. There was an Issac Sheldon born in 1686 in Kingstown, RI, who had a son Issac Sheldon born on 1715/16 in South Kingstown, RI. That is all I have on him, but can check further. Hope this might help.
