I appreciate the leads a great deal. I'm going to research each Wilson in Crown Point and see if any of them connect in someway to Philander Wilson. Philander Wilson Sr., seemed to migrate a bit, but the counties that stand out are: Williams, Summit, and Licking. Some of his grandchildren migrated to Noble County, Indiana where eventually my grandmother "Dessie Lucinda Wilson" was born in 1882 and this whole story begins, so to speak.
