Obituary from the St. Petersburg Times (FL) Friday, Jan. 25, 2002 SLACK, GEORGEANNE B., 81, of Clearwater, died Wednesday (Jan. 23, 2002) at home under the care of Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. She was born in Mineville, N.Y., and came here in 1959 from Glen Falls, N.Y. She was a teacher and retired after 20 years with Pinellas County school system. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Dunedin, and the Retired Teachers Association. Survivors include a son, John G., Safety Harbor; three daughters, Peggy Eaton, Clearwater, and Mary K. Maynard and Beth Turner, both of Palm Harbor; nine grandchildren; two nieces and a nephew in New York.
