I am told that there is reference to Roger Alden Hiern in a book called "A Sketch of the town of Essex, New York" - on page 11 to be exact. Roger arrived in America in 1795 and quickly made a name for himself. Is there SKS who has a copy of this book, maybe knows a library that has a copy of this book or can somehow get the extract to me here in Tasmania, Australia? I would be so grateful. Thanks.
