I am seeking information on Joseph Robins and wife, Elizabeth, also called Betsey. They supposedly came from Killingly, CT to Bridport, VT in 1793 and in 1806 went to Brookfield, which I believe was a part of Willsborough, Essex Co., NY. Does anyone have any information on these people and their four daughters, Polly, Arsenath, Sally, and Betsey? After Joseph's death in 1817, his widow returned to Bridport, VT. In 1838 she started applying for a pension. She finally received one, but I believe she must have died before 1840 as she doesn't show in the index to people in that census who were receiving pensions at that time. I would also like it confirmed that there was a section of Willsborough called Brookfield. Thanks, Joann Nichols [email protected]
