I'd actually like to take you up on it, if you wouldn't mind. I live in Southern California so I haven't had the opportunity to do some "real" digging, so to speak. I'm having a tough time finding the father of "Philander W. Wilson". Philander was born on 1 Jun 1810 in Crown Point, Essex County, New York ..... but I'm beginning to think my father got it wrong, and it should be Essex County, Vermont???? He died 11 Dec 1893 in Williams County, Ohio. He was married to Charlotte E. Hopkins. Her Hopkins were primarily from Vermont, but prior to that they were establishing Hartford, Connecticut. Anyway, I contacted the Williams County Court house and they said that they didn't have any death records for a Philander Wilson (Willson) and that death records weren't really required until later. So, if perchance you run into old "Philander Wilson" while your researching, I'd appreciate it if you'd tell him I'm looking for him and his family. =) Thanks so much for your kindness.
