Gerald may have also had a brother who moved away to california. I beleive the family owned a home on lake champlain that was used as a b&b or lodge. william may have been born earlier or later, and almost nothing is known about his family, except that there may have been a disagreement that caused the family to drift apart. if you know of any reeds in the area, especially ones that know of a B&B that was or is owned by the family, please ask.
