They were the Sumners and the Marshalls. What is it that you are looking for? Do you live near Williams County? I've been to the court house and the Genealogical Society in Byron, both are very easy to work with. The records there are so much better than in Essex County. I'm going to Salt Lake in 2 weeks and since I'll be going thru some Essex County material If there is something in particular that you are seeking, maybe I can find it.
