Hi Barbara, I tried e-mailing you directly but aol said you were not a "known member" so I am posting to the list. found a baptism for Simon Caswell on 12 Aug 1744 in Marblehead, Essex, MA. That says he was the son of John and Elizabeth. He married Rebecca Drury on 03 Sep 1799 in Sutton, Worcester, MA - makes me wonder if there was not a prior marriage since he was already 55 when he married Rebecca. John Caswell is probably the one who married Elizabeth Savage on 29 Nov 1742 in Marblehead. I have not figured out his parents as yet. I was not sure if you are trying to connect your Caswells back to the immigrant - probably Thomas Caswell of Taunton. I descend from Thomas via my 3rd great grandmother, Hannah Frances Knowles Caswell, who married George Washington Crandall, Sr. Donna Potter in Rhode Island
