Her father was Duncan Lindsay b ca 1700 Scotland Isla. He married twice, 1st to Anna McDougal then to Agnes McCoy. Not certain which one was mother to Nancy. Searching for marriage record of Nancy and Nathan Peterson/Patterson in Washington, Co, NY town of Argyle. Believe marriage abt 1790. Nancy & Nathan appeared in 1850 Census, Kane Co, IL. They were living with their son Duncan Peterson, he was 83 and she was 80. No death or burial record found.
