    1. Nathaniel White and Esther Peck
    2. Hi - I was wondering if Nick White was subscribed to this list - found an old query from 1997 that he was researching the folks in the subject line. I believe that Nathaniel White is the brother of my great-great-great-great-grandmother, Syrena White Colby. They were both born in Vermont, lived in Jay, and are buried in Central Cemetery. Nathaniel White had a son, Nathaniel Bennett White. Syrena's mother was Martha Bennett. Martha Bennett's first husband was Alonzo White (and father of Syrena). Martha subsequently married George O'Brien. I'd love to hear from Nick or anyone else researching these families. Happy Holidays to all! Robin

    3. I am looking for any information on 3 sisters that came to Ticonderoga around 1871 from England.Eliza married Charles Thomas, Lucy married a Eselby/Essebly and Margaret married a Bennett.I have found the Charles Thomas family and have some information from Norman Thomas and his sister Laura Jane Thomas Howard. These 3 sisters as family history tells it--came to USA to be with their Uncle William Hooper. William Hooper is my gg grandfather and these 3 sisters MIGHT be related to his wife( my gg grandmother) Jane Ann Hoskins. Any help will be greatly appreciated. 2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/YRB.2ACE/1376 Message Board Post: I am trying to trace a family I found in the 1870 US Census for NY, Essex County, Town of Moriah, Village of Port Henry. At one of the Essex County websites, I found a reference to a New York State Census in 1875. A microfilm copy is at the Newberry Library in Chicago, but that is not available through the interlibrary loan program. A copy was supposedly in the Huntington Public Library, Suffolk County, but that Library tells me they do not have it. I have been able to obtain, through the interlibrary loan program, a statistical abstract that was printed from the census, but not a copy of the Census pages that would be similar to microfilmed copies of a US census. Does anyone know if a microfilm copy of the 1875 New York State Census is available in Essex County, and, if so, Is there anyone in Essex County who would be willing to help me try and locate this family in the Town of Moriah, Village of Port Henry in 1875? Thanks for any help. Robby
