    2. I would appreciate hearing from ANYONE with information relating to the PROCTOR Family Name, especially if they are from upstate New York. My grandmothers father was Edmund Bentley and lived in Sandgate with his first wife, Mary Conger and she was Nellies mother. Nellie had two other sisters, Myrtle (myrtie) May Bentley and Orpha Jane Bentley who were born on Sept 6, 1874 (Nellie) and June 20, 1880 (Orpha Jane). They also had a brother named Henry Adelbert Bentley born on Nov 28, 1882. I believe your great grandfather lived with Mary Conger Bentley Varney and her second husband Henry Varney in Essex County (Keesville NY) Please contact me if you see this. In 1830 I find two Pattersons, in Essex County, with females under the age of 5: Charles and Adam Patterson. Are these two men brothers? Are there any baptismal records for Essex County around 1828?
