    1. [NYE] Searching for information about JOSEPH PARKER
    2. Pat Lavato
    3. Joseph Parker was born in Canada in 1828, came to Essex County about 1849, married Sophie Champagne in Lewis in 1851, had 8 children, most born in Schroon Lake/North Hudson area but maybe Crown Point, also. I am looking for clues to Joseph's parentage. Any descendants of any of those children out there? The children were Joseph, Henry, Francis, Charles, Julia, Adolphus (died young), Frederick, Sarah & Elizabeth. Sarah married Edward Rivure. Julia married Paul Dezalia. Joseph married Carrie Fitch. Charles married Rose Plouffe. Frederick married Libby Lattrell. Elizabeth married a Ducharme. I've been searching for clues to Joseph's birth (where in Canada) & parents (who were they?)for over 20 years & am just stumped!

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/YRB.2ACE/373.376.1 Message Board Post: After checking I have found Alpheus Kinney on the 1830 Census in Stowe Twp., Washington Co., VT. It shows that he and his wife are between the ages of 20 and 30. They have two male children under the age of 5 and one female under the age of 5. I also checked the 1820 census and found him living in the same county and township but is not married yet. It is not clear on the age at that time. I think that this is more likely our Alpheus than the one in Jay Township.
