Nancy, Call the local LDS churches in your locale and ask if they have a genealogy research room. Once you go there you can order the microfilm/microfiche, which takes about 2 weeks for them to get them. Then go back to read the rented film/fiche; I think you get to read them for 2 weeks, where they are stored in drawers there. When that particular one has been ordered they get to store them permanently at that locale.
