Thank you Cheryl, I have no idea what Mary/Maries' parents were named. She married Martin Halter. That family was from the Lancaster, NY area and went to St Mary's of the Hill. No records of their marriage there. He was listed as 18 and working for Charles Day in 1850. They were both found in 1860 in Houghton, MI. Census was taken before their son Andrew was born in 1860. There after they are on the Ontonagon, MI census records until all their deaths. Grace
