has anyone been in contact with the assessors office regarding images of home for tax purposes...? and where some of these may be housed now if converted to industrial/retail etc areas? I was fortunate in another state to have contact with the assessor who had KEPT the old files and had images of the homes from the WPA era where photogs were sent out to photograph each PIN for the files and from thence images were layered on top for a complete file record of changes... it was a rather nic present/gift to see what once was and to have photocopies of exactly what my family lived in.... so, if you have had such an experience in NY ERIE, please let the others know the particulars...
