About cemeteries that might have been near where someone lived and/or went to church; there is an article in the September 23, 1895 Courier, that mentions a large amount of bones removed, with a probable larger number to come, that were on the site of Masten Park school. They were in the process of building the foundation. The article simply explains that the unmarked graves (25 so far, at the time of the article) will be removed to "Potter's Field". Further in the article, it says the site had formerly been the "Buffalo Private Cemetery", also known as the Best St. burying ground. Kathy
