    3. Chris, I am intrigued by your answer to Johnna. I have been trying to ascertain the (probably) Catholic Church affiliation of the priest (?) who married my grandmother and my grandfather in Buffalo, also in 1916. Would you be willing to take a quick look in your Donahue's and let me know if there is any information on a Rev. John J. Lehmann (Gardenville, NY). I only ask because my own grandmother is a brick wall for me (what an embarrassment) and we suspect that she was an orphan. She left multiple (and different) indications of who her parents were, so perhaps the church affiliation of the person who performed her marriage ceremony might give me a clue for further research. I know I'm grasping at straws, but . . .
