    3. When it's snowing outside, what else is there to do, but plan a spring/summer/fall visit to Buffalo to research one's ancestors? (And for those of you already in Buffalo, I'm sure you've got plenty of shovelling to keep you busy...) A couple of months ago, someone sent me email seeking advice for a genealogy-related visit to Buffalo. (Because of the Buffalo East Side web site I maintain, I many people believe I reside in Buffalo... I don't; I'm in Washington DC). Anyway, seeking to help this person, I went searching for such a web page-- certainly there must be something like it. I thought Cynthia had prepared such a page. But I could not find it. I threw together some quick suggestions, George Richmond threw in a few more, and I compiled the following: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~jillaine/Buffalo/visit.html It's currently in draft mode, and I would love suggestions for making it a good check list. I am, of course, open to deleting it entirely if such a thing exists elsewhere already. Thanks. -- Jillaine Smith http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~jillaine
