Mary: Quite regularly "The Buffalo Courier" in 1888 and into 1889 published lists of the births, marriages and deaths, sometimes as often as every other day. The practice seemed to stop sometime in 1889/90 as I have not seen these lists in the 1891 newspapers. You will find transcriptions of some of these lists on the NewspaperAbstracts.com web site.
