    3. I've "rescued" an old family bible which originally belonged to Henry DAW & Mary CROSBY. Information included in the bible is as follows: DAW & CROSBY Family Bible Marriages: · Henry DAW & Mary CROSBY married 24th Feb 1819 · Alfred DeForest DAW & Eva Sarah KNAPP married 24th Sept 1856 Births: · Henry DAW, 23rd June 1795 · Mary CROSBY, 18th Aug 1796 · Henry Harrison DAW, 7th Nov 1826 · George Horton DAW, 14th May 1828 · Alfred DeForest DAW, 10th June 1831 · Harrison Hopkins DAW, 13th Sept 1833 Deaths: · Henry DAW, 14th Aug 1864 · Henry Harrison DAW, 14th Sept 1827 · George Horton DAW, 20th Apr 1831 · Harrison Hopkins DAW, 29th May 1847 Based on limited research I believe that the family was living in Buffalo, New York during the 1830's when the children and their father were all baptized at the Saint Pauls Episcopal Church there in August 1834. I also find Alfred D. DAW and his wife Eva S. DAW living in Buffalo during the 1880 census with a son Harry L. DAW age 22, born in NY. Both Alfred and Eva's place of birth was listed as NY with Alfred listing his father's place of birth as CT. I'm hoping to locate someone from this family so that this wonderful old bible can be returned to its rightful place with family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
