I hate to disillusion you, but you won't find a city directory that covers Gardenville. The Buffalo directories cover strictly inside the city limits until the 1930s, and even then, they ignore the Town of West Seneca where Gardenville is located. What is the location in Gardenville? This might be enough to pinpoint the church, if indeed the deed was done in a church.
