    1. Alfred Amberson REA, died 1913 in Buffalo

    3. I am searching for information on my great-granduncle Alfred Amberson REA, who was born 16 September 1854 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and died 4 December 1913 in City Hospital, Buffalo, New York. In particular, I'd like to know when he arrived in Erie County, NY and whether he remarried and raised a family there. He had been married to Alla L. Hill 4 December 1879 in Monroe County, Wisconsin and fathered a daughter named Kittie Bernice Rea (20 June 1880), but the marriage ended in divorce. Alfred is said to have been a gambler and traveler and I am wondering if might have later settled down in Buffalo with a new wife and children. Thanks. Gary Rea

    3. Gary, I found Alfred REA on the 1910 census in Yates, Orleans Co., NY. He was living as a boarder on the farm of George Wallace and working as a laborer at a cold storage facility. There is no other family living with him.
