When I bought a new laptop last fall, I went out looking for a new screensaver for it. With the gazillions of free screensavers on the net, I figured there'd be a few with a Buffalo theme. No such luck. All I found were the Bills and buffalo, the animal. So I created one as a fundraiser for the Preservation Coalition of Erie County, of which I am the secretary of the board. It features a slide show of Buffalo cityscapes taken between 1900 an 1910. Or, more succinctly, the Preservation Coalition is the organization of last resort for endangered buildings in Buffalo.
