Hi, all. I was just looking for my BLEYLE relations in the US census from 1900 in Township Tonawanda, village Kenmore- ED #259. I was able to find them, but there was a something that caught my eye. Name of Institution: ? House. I could not make out the name before house. I am assuming that this may have been an orphanage as all the "inmates" as they are listed have "un" parentage and the birth dates were all late 1890's. No street name is listed on the census. Does anyone know anything about any orphanage located there in the turn of the century? Have a nice day. Christine
