Searching for FIDELIA (CAROLINE) CLOUGH, born 1818 in either Charlotte, Vt. or Erie Co., N.Y....... married RICHARD E. LOOMIS in 1837 in Vt. or Buffalo, N.Y..... At least two of their children were born in Buffalo -- HOMER E. LOOMIS born 1839-1841.....and LEONORA LUCINDA LOOMIS BRN 1842-1844........ FIDELIA supposedly died in 1844 in Wisconsin but it may very well have been in Buffalo....... I cannot tell you how many long years I have been searching for this elusive lady.......she was at least half Native American, if not full--depending where her surname came from--as it does not seem to belong to any of the New England Clough lines......... Have a lot of conflicting information on dates, places, etc........very frustrating....... I have the LOOMIS line back to the beginning of time-----but the wives all came from Mars I guess........... any help greatly appreciated....
