How would I find what cemetery Julia DURKEE is buried in? I have checked the different web sites, but I must be missing something. Julia Maria (RISLEY) DURKEE died January 25, 1911 at Spokane, WA. Her body was shipped to Buffalo, NY. I am assuming to be buried next to her husband, George Waldo Durkee who died September 22, 1879 at Utica, NY. However, that hasn't been confirmed either. Her death certificate from Washington State does not state where she was buried and the records from the mortuary in Spokane do not show where her body was shipped, just that it was sent by train to Buffalo, NY. I am hoping that if I can find Julia, I will find Anna E. Durkee in the same cemetery. Anna was adopted (either legally or just in name only) by Julia and possibly George before his death. I don't know when Anna died, but I believe I have narrowed the time frame down to 1947 to 1949. Anna was born Anna Ploss, daughter of Martin Ploss about Septebmer 1868.
