Dear listers, I am researching the above couple. He was born in Scotland (Polmont) in 1783. She was born in Salem, NY in 1790. They married in 1807 in Granville, NY. By 1834 (or at least 1840) they were in Ashtabula, OH, but I believe they may have come through Erie County, and I'm trying to hook them up with other DICKs that might be in the area. They left northeastern NY/VT abt. 1826. They were in Chataqua County, NY 1827-1833. My husband is descended from their son, Matthew Grey DICK.
