Hi Lister, I am reasonably sure now that a Margaret SEIS or SIES lived in Buffalo, Erie, before marrying Jacob KLEINDIENST of Rochester, Monroe. Her son, Charles F. SEIS or SIES, was born in about 1852 and, if calculations are right, Margaret married Jacob between 1860 and 1869. So there may be a family SEIS (SIES) in Buffalo on the 1860 Census - wife Margaret and a son Charles, aged about 8. Would SKS please look this up for me? Best wishes, Charles
