Here's the latest update from Concordia Cemetery: The cemetery achieved NY State landmark status of December 7, 2007. Please send your congrats to the board and volunteers who were instrumental in getting this designation. It should make the cemetery eligible for additional funds. Even so, the cemetery relies heavily on both volunteers and donations. The new year and new projects will begin at the end of April when the grounds are sufficiently dry and able to be walked upon. Mark you calendars for the THIRD SATURDAY of each month April through September. There's lots of great work to do on this wonderful old cemetery that houses the remains of some of our oldest ancestors.
