I didn't attend Woodrow, but my ex and my nephews did. I lived on Jackson st for about 6 months back in 04-05 and on the corner of Curtiss and Reimann for about a year back in 89-90. I know the house well on the corner of Crocker as my ex lived just a couple houses away from it. Too bad the candy store is long gone! I grew up in Depew and now live in the same house I grew up in. We lived on Reiman street when I was 5. I attended Woodrow Wilson School also. I remember on my fifth birthday my mom sent me to that store to buy some bread--can you imagine today sending a 5 yr old 3 blocks away on their own--so she could have a surprise birthday for me. I stopped to talk to a man sitting on his step.
