As shocking as this may be, the entire list doesn't want to hear the way-off-topic "that one time" memories you're sharing with another member. In the same vein, things like inside jokes, personal plans - basically anything that has nothing to do with the list's subject - should probably be taken off-list. Please keep in mind some people do not have a “blazing fast” internet connection, or they are accessing at a public library or maybe getting the list in digest form. With this in mind, if you must respond to an off-topic posting – and exchanging recipes is just that – respond privately OFF-LIST! If you do not know how to do this, don’t respond at all. This list has had few real posts get through the last few days, which I know I ignored, as I just hit the delete key to get through all the dross!
