"The History of Lackawanna" published by the Lackawanna Bicentennial Commission Dec 10, 1976 has a picture of The Moses Taylor Hospital in 1904 as it was being finished. Page 58. If you need a scan of the pix; e-mail me off list and I'll send it to you. The only hospital I ever heard anyone talk about in Lackawanna was "Our Lady of Victory" (which is now low income senior citizen apartments.) I have been living around and in Lackawanna all my life and had numerous friends and relatives that worked at the steel plant, but I have never heard any of them mention this hospital....learn something new everyday. Sounds like the plant (which was like a little city all of its own in those days) must have had their own medical facility. Strange its not spoken or written about that much. Makes you wonder why.
