    3. I've been enjoying this discussion on South Buffalo and Lackawana. My family has long lived in this area: Babcock, Maurice, Perry, Elk, just to name a few streets. My great grandfathers worked for Buffalo Chemical Works and the NY Central Rail Road. Charles E. Long was the physician that signed off on my Grandfather's death certificate. He was one of the two men that were killed in the SOCONY, Atlas Plant explosion on March 7, 1927. I believe my Grandmother lived in the Perry Projects.     3. Oh never mind. I just realized that he Dr. Long signed your grandfathers death certificate when your grandfather died. DUH......
