I am still interesting in finding a copy of a page in 1871-72 City Directory for the name MONCRIEF (various spellings) Any information about the area called "Uniontown" in the 1850s would be very much appreciated. Also, I noticed on the 1870 Federal Census that most the those living on Moniter Street were iron workers or in furnace work in the ROLLING HILL IRON WORKS. Any information on this mill also would be appreciated..(My great-grandfather worked there 1865-1875 then left and went to the Union Mills in Athens, PA. He was a blacksmith)..........vldg **************Create a Home Theater Like the Pros. Watch the video on AOL Home.
