According to a Declaration of Intention Martin Janczak arrived in New York from Poland on April 18,1880, at the age of 30 and settled in Buffalo, Erie County, NY. His wife was.Agnes Natkowiak who he married in 1871 in the R C Parish in Debnica, Poland. He moved here to Texas around 1885 or 1886. He was the son of Urbanus Janczak and Antonia Kmiec. I believe he was kin to my g. grandmother Honarata Janczak who married Fabian Kmiec. It appears that some other Janczak family members were there in Buffalo also. They stayed in Buffalo when Martin moved here to Texas. I am trying to find out if any of them were kin to Martin's parents Urbanus Janczak and Antonia Kmiec.
