Looking for a newspaper look up concerning a robbery in Buffalo, NY at possibly Sattler's store about 1952-1953.  Photograph of apprehended suspect by unarmed citizen won prize and was published again about one year later.  Suspect was rumored to be hospitalized afterwards...photo includes policeman, robber being held by the throat, robber's gun, and unidentified ... persons.  Would like to identify everyone in photo and have a copy of the newspaper article (transcription) if this is available from microfilm at the library.

Did you try http://fultonhistory.com? New content is added often, and while the focus is much older papers, I have seen articles for even more recent.
