Hal: Start with Wuert. emigration index. Find out when they left. Then NY ship arrivals (been a long time so I can't remember exact title but LDS has film. zzzzyou should eventually !!!!! find them. My ancestgors never bacame landowners so cant help you with that. Why no street address for 1860 home? Try city directories. If I could remember the key to open them I would do the Index thing for you but things past are forgotten. Bob, Thanks for your reply. I've searched the emigration index and cannot find them on Ancestry although believe I found them on WVR. I've checked the census pages several before and after in which he appears, but no street address appears. Caroline shows in censuses of 1880 and 1890 on 194 Pratt Street.
