    3. Thank you Janet...the voice of reason and sensibility is sweet music.   I'm in Illinois and kind of new to the Erie List.  Does anyone have anything on a Michael and Julia Susmarski, who immigrated in 1883, settled in Erie County and had two sons, John and Frank?   I'm particularly interested in death dates for Michael and Julia.   Thanks, Ruth --- On Thu, 3/18/10, JanetB <janetbritton@att.net> wrote: From: JanetB <janetbritton@att.net> Subject: Re: [NYERIE] census To: nyerie@rootsweb.com Date: Thursday, March 18, 2010, 12:20 PM << illegal = negative it's an opinion, whether it be politically correct or not.  One of the rights of an American citizen is to be able to express an opinion.  If they don't like our opinion of them , then they can just sneak back to their own country. >> RootsWeb's guidelines are clear: "Honest, open communication is essential, but it must be delivered with respect for other members' thoughts and expressions... 3. Ruth it appears that the children were orphaned between the 1892 and 1900 censuses, is this correct? (as per familysearch.org). If so, you have a good shot at death records. vitalrec.com is a good resource. If it was in Buffalo, where they were last living, you can contact the city; or if outside Buffalo, the Erie County Clerk. Info below. Good luck Janet Vital Statistics City Hall, Room 1310 Buffalo, NY 14202 (716) 851-5844 Erie County Clerk 25 Delaware Avenue Buffalo, NY 14202 (716) 858-8865 From: Ruth Susmarski [mailto:rususmar@yahoo.com] Sent: Thursday, March 18, 2010 1:51 PM To: nyerie@rootsweb.com Cc: janetbritton@att.net Subject: [NYERIE] Genealogy Question Thank you Janet...the voice of reason and sensibility is sweet music.
