Diane, The Catholic church in Evans is Most Precious Blood located in the village of Angola. There Cemetery is located at Rte 20 and Main St. I don't think it's called Holy Cross like someone said and it wasn't in existance until after your folks left. Prior to that, Catholics were usually buried in Fredonia NY which is abt 20 miles away and has several Catholic churches and cemeteries. They took them there by train. If I were home; I could check the books I have on Angola and Evans and maybe give you better info. on churches, cemeteries and dates.
