actually, i would appreciate a first hand accounting from someone OTHER than a reporter.... form someone i "know" would be most welcomed.... i see the reports and i see the photos and i still cannot fathom... it ranks up there with trying to explain infinity..... I am supplying the info to Dave, so the rest of you can res easy. George My attempt to communicate directly with Dave Critchley failed. I'll quote the message below in hopes that he can receive it from the group. There are actually four surnames associated with 419 Prospect, Buffalo in 1930.: Thorn, Dennison, DiBenedento. BenVentra. I have a photo copy of the census page which I will gladly send you if you supply your postal address. If you tell me which surname is of interest, I'll try to summarize that name, but you really should look at the page, since there is quite a bit of information there. That's a street of quite large houses, set close together, so it is not surprising that there are multiple families living there. The house is probably still standing. Do you want a photo? George

Hi: As many of you are aware I am the County Coordinator for Erie County for NewspaperAbstracts.com web site. Over the holidays I was able to photograph several hundred articles from just one year of a Erie County newspaper. Added to the articles I now have in my collection and at my current rate I may be able to get most of them put on line in 4-5 years. Ninety percent of these articles are short and do not require much time. This doesn't require leaving your home or any cost on your part. This could be done by email so you can be anywhere. Even the beach in Hawaii. You could do as few or as many as you want on your timetable. Your name will appear with each article unless you do not want it included. You will not even have to post them on-line. I will handle it for you. This would allow me to try and concentrate on the ones that have 50 to 200 names in them or require special formating. I guess what I am asking is if anyone is interested in assisting me in helping the list of on-line resources to grow for Erie County please contact me privately off-list. Have a great day Don White __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail - You care about security. So do we. http://promotions.yahoo.com/new_mail
