    3. That's actually kind of worrisome. When BECPL got the same index, they were told that look-ups were to be done in person and that it was against State health department lawsfor staff to offer remote look-ups. Violations would result in the index being withdrawn. --- Dick Hillenbrand <[email protected]> wrote: > Read our latest Blog with some additional information > regarding the eight > sets of NYS microfiche indexes to Births, Deaths and Marriages > for most of > the Upstate New York areas. 2. The records for First Trinity Lutheran are available in the WNYGS collection at the downtown library and also at the FHC Library on Maple in Amherst. The copy in Amherst is not cataloged, as it has no FHC number; it is located in a top drawer. ---- D S wrote: ============= On Tue, Mar 4, 2008 at 11:02 AM, Jillaine Smith wrote: > Is it Trinity or St. Stephens that had its records filmed by WNYGS and is available there and at the public library? -->> Don't know about Trinity, but do know that the St Stephens records are on microfilm. I have a basic question while we're on burials in Concordia Cemetery. When you hear "Buffalo Cemetery", are people actually referring to Concordia? Is it one and the same? 3. Deb asked: "When you hear "Buffalo Cemetery", are people actually referring to Concordia? Is it one and the same?" No. Buffalo Cemetery is different altogether. I believe it's one of the cemeteries on the hill, part of that huge complex of cemeteries that includes Pine Lawn. I believe the complex is called Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Inc.
