Dear Willora--Ic case you have difficulty finding information for Courtland County--the spelling is CORTLAND COUNTY. I am from there but live in CA. This past month on a visit there--I again visited the very well run research room in their library at the Cortland County Historical Society.- of which I am a member. Have you asked also about the following resources? They have a large Surname File and a Surname Picture File and MANY other resources about the towns, villages and cemeteries DO write to them again if you think there might be more. . The director is Mary Ann KANE amnd they have many research helpers. They charge a reasonable fee and for copies and postage,of course. The address is on-line, I believe. The address is on Homer Avenue. Also, the Cortland City Library and the one in Cincinnatus might also have resources.
