Hello. My husband and I will be traveling in the Northeast next month visiting family and friends. I would like to go to Dutchess County to locate some information on his 2x great grandfather who lived and we believed died in Tivoli. Could someone who has done research at the local offices there give me some advice/hints as to the best places to go? Do I need to call first, etc? I have already contacted Tivoli and they don't have a death record for him so I thought the county seat would be the next best place to attempt. Thank you.
