I have a William Barber whom marries an Abigail Dean in 1792 in the Dutch Reformed Church, poughkeepsie. I actually do have their marriage info, but I am looking for my Wm Barber's parents. In my Wm Barber's descendants short Biographies. It says that "they were members of one of the oldest families of the Empire State". My William & Abigail Dean seem to have lived in Dutchess Co. long enough to have four children. & show up in the. 1820 census in Carlisle, Schoharie Co, census along with some of Abigail's Dean relitives.
