    3. There is a Mt. Carmel church in an Italian neighborhood in Poughkeepsie. I wonder if there is some geographical significance there? It would seem more logical for this to mean a trip across the Hudson River, maybe? It being winter, I'm willing to bet this is another Mt. Carmel that you mention. Other references point to a Mount Carmel placename around Poughkeepsie and also a Carmel, NY. However, I'll defer to those more familiar with the area than me.
