Eugene Cornwell's Father Egbert born abt. 1815, I have not been able to pin down yet. I am Eugene's Great-Great-Grandson, My Great-Grandfather was his son Edward(brother of your Grandfather George E., Eugene's eldest son born in 1879). Edward was born in 1885, and His Daughter Kathryn(1908-2007) married my Grand-Father Joseph Garvey(1900-1968)in 1926. Was your mother Theda H. Secor, and your father Harold Secor, buried in Brownville, NY? I too would like to trace the Egbert who was in the 10th NYHA in 1862-63, but can definitly say that he and Egbert B. are not one and the same person. He is buried in Ellisburg as Egbert Cornell and died Oct. 5 1889. He was Born in 1818 not 1815.
