Don't know if this helps you or not. 1880 Census April 1, 1880 Washington, Dutchess Co., NY Walter Murphy, age 22 Sarah Murphy, age 18 Allen Murphy, age 2 Mary Murphy, age 2 months (born in April) Walter Murphy and wife Sarah L. ___ went on to have a total of 9 children from what I have been able to reconstruct: Allen (Allie) B. Murphy b-March 1878 d-1935 Mary Murphy b-April 1880 ____ Murphy Mark Murphy b-March 1884 Martin Murphy b-abt 1887 John Murphy b-Nov 1889 Ernest Murphy b-Feb 1892 Lydia "Libby" Murphy b-May 1893 Walter Murphy abt 1902 Allie B. Murphy married Daisy Vincent and they had 14 children that I can find. Lydia Murphy married (1) Charles Rigler (or Rigles) and had a daughter. Lydia married (2) Edward Sylvester Hay, and had 2 sons. Lydia and Edward Hay divorced sometime between the 1920 census and 1930 census. A few of Allie Murphy's family are buried in Valley View cemetery, Dover, Dutchess Co., New York.
