Although I have VERY few PALMERS--I just ran across some eight pages copied from Ye Historie of Ye Town of Greenwich--CT.by MEAD for another reason . This book is widely available but in these 8 pages- someone who obviously had, or had researched , PALMERS had written in ink copious notes in the margins and around the bottom, too.. The book was donated to the Santa Barbara Gen. Library where I research from time to time. The notes in the margins are many and not all plainly written. However, if the note-writer had knowledge that a LISTED PALMER from CT. either married or migrated out of CT., a line is drawn into the margin and a note added. I counted at LEAST 6 PALMER men as having migrated into Duchess County,NY ; many to Saratoga,NY area; quite a few 'western NY'--usually Erie CO. or stated Buffalo; a number to other western states. I do not have Gedcom capability,nor FAX.
