I did see a UK inquiry re: the Name Montfort version Moorfoot! I think maybe these versions are spelling errors as not everyone was well versed or misread, due to handwriting discrepancies Are you looking for Fort or Montfort info Jane Montfort'd father was Peter Montfort of Sprout Creek (NY?)
